5 Minute Sit-up Challenge

Following weights and dryland this morning we finished with the 5 minute sit-up challenge. Opposing teams counted for each other after proper sit-up technique was established and agreed upon. Team 1 (Brown) which consists of Baker, Castaneda, Greene, Liu, Mike Murphy, Robinson, Rowan, Paccapaniccia, Hartwell, Mackiewicz, Martin, Melchiorre, O'Donnell and Rutkowski out crunched the competition by an average of 161.7-148.4.
Top 5 were: Greene (226), Liu (209), Hartwell (205), Kundzik (202) and Nenashev (201).

I'd be interested to hear what the criteria was. I've heard that true sit ups are when the back fully passes a straight vertical line perpendicular to the floor. Makes it much harder than just elbows to knees.
